Leave your data there ... we'll come to you
Neuron contains a catalog of configurable pre-built data services that produce detailed population health insights. The core insights include a robust set of population health quality measures and CMS Risk Adjustment RAF score outcomes that can be further adapted to an organization's specific care and data requirements. Give an example of this
The foundational design philosophy around Neuron is the “democratization of data”. Our goal is to enable our clients with the capabilities to easily integrate these insights into an already existing infrastructure. This allows for much faster end-to-end experience at a much lower cost. Neuron data is de-anonymized and accessible via APIs so that the data and insights can be shared across Care Data Ecosystems as an organization sees fit.
Connect to your data infrastructure seamlessly
Neuron was designed with layers of abstraction that allow it to be data source agnostic. At its core, the Apache Spark framework provides a DataFrame API that all insight services utilize to create a unified data processing solution.
The foundational abstraction layers are called IO Connectors. These act as wrappers around the vendor supplied drivers and provide the necessary pre-processing functionality for a given data source to ensure absolute data integrity.
How it works ...
Load data into your Data Warehouse of choice.
Deploy Neuron to your Runtime Environment of choice.
Configure Neuron for your health population parameters.
Run your selected population health services.
Analyze population health metrics and metric details.
Neuron was designed to work within multiple types of environments, with a core focus on cloud. There are four configurable components to choose from when building out the Neuron Population Health Insights solution:
- Runtime Environment (App hosting)
- Data Warehouse (Structured data hosting)
- File Storage (Blob data hosting)
Our goal is to enable our clients with the capabilities to easily integrate health insights into their already existing infrastructure, allowing for much faster end-to-end experience at a lower cost.
Runtime Environment
The runtime environment is a data analytics service capable of hosting the Neuron engine application and can create/configure Apache Spark clusters in order to execute and orchestrate engine runs.
Supported services include:
Data Warehouse
A centralized repository of data that is used for reporting and analysis. Used to store large amounts of data from multiple sources, such as claims, labs, pharmaceutical and other source systems.
With an optimized structure that facilitates faster query processing and analysis, the Neuron Data Warehouse can store and manage data from a variety of different sources, enabling users to access and analyze data from a single source.
Supported services include:
File Storage
File storage allows the engine to access and store raw and unstructured data for use in data preparation, ETL/ELT, configuration and application hosting.
Supported services include:
